Well done to the children who were presented with the Achievement Award by the actors from Story Magic.

Attendance last week was excellent with overall percentage of over 98%. This is a super start to the year. Year 6 pupils are busy visiting secondary school prior to making their decisions. Should any parents want to talk to either Mrs Whitworth or myself in relation to school choice, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Parents should all have received a flyer about the Halloween Disc on Thursday 21 October. This party is running directly after school and will be a ‘parent free zone!’ Children may dress up in Halloween costume and tickets at £2 include a hot dog and drink. There will be games, dancing and activities plus sweets and ice cream on sale.

Letters have been sent out for the ‘Christmas Cracker’ on Sunday 28 November. Requests for tickets must be received by Wednesday 20 October. Parents are advised that tickets will not be for sale on the door.

Music invoices should be paid by 11 October please.

Football Week begins Monday 18 October – more details later.

Please could all parents take care when dropping children off in the morning. There was a serious incident this week which has had to be referred to the police traffic enforcement department, it is understandable that parents are anxious that the children reach school safety, but pedestrians must take priority.

The Mad Science starts Friday 15 October for all children who have expressed interest.
