St. Cuthbert's R.C. Business & Enterprise College
This week’s themes were ‘St Vincent’ and ‘Care for the Poor’ and our Enterprise capability was ‘Creativity’. The new Respect Point system went live this week, with students being rewarded for each of the following: excellent effort, extra-curricular involvement, good neighbour, quality of work, smart and being in school on time. Students have been issued with reward cards to carry at all times so that teachers may reward them around the school.
Last week’s Year 7 Attendance Challenge Winner was Isla Murphy in form 7.7. Congratulations Isla. Also, well done Miss Hussain and form 7.6 with 100% attendance - "You have to be in to win".
Lockers are still available for year 7 pupils. Homework club is open every lunch time in L3 at 1.00pm with Mrs Whitmore and Mrs Rushton.
Please contact school on the first day of any absence and record absence in your child’s planner.
See notices for the many lunchtime clubs available.
Our new Student Council Representatives were identified by all students and were presented their student council ties – it is now very easy to spot your representatives around school by the silver tie – your representatives will help you by listening to your views and discussing them in student council meetings.
The facilities in our Partnership Learning Centre are available for parents and for any Parish Groups who wish to produce resources for church or develop their own learning.
We now have a group of parents following a computing course in school. If you would like to be a part of this, please speak to Louise Moore for details (01706 647761).
