Falinge Park High School
The PTA have organised a Treasure Hunt on Sunday 3 October. It will start from school at 11.00am. Cars can leave school over a staggered start, collect clues and up at the mystery destination there will be a prize for the winning car. Each car will pay £10.00, regardless of numbers in the car! The Treasure Hunt should last for about 2 hours in total. Please come along to support the event and the PTA – Everybody is welcome.
School will be closed to pupils on Monday 4 October as we are welcoming Year 6 pupils from primary schools to meet staff and experience lessons in high school. In the evening parents of our Year 6 children are invited to come into school from 6.45pm to meet staff and have a look around the school and find out how we operate. Families are also welcome to book appointments to have a look around the school during the working day. We are always pleased to show our school off.
The Year 10 Academic Reviews start in the week beginning 4 October and parents should have received letters letting them know about the meeting between their child and the tutor. This is not a parent/pupil review but parents are very welcome to attend if they want to. Please let your child’s tutor know if intend to attend the review.
Octagon Radio Group will be working with Mr. Morley in the Radio Studio (in the Upper Year Centre) on Thursday from 2.45pm. Could everybody be prompt so that you can get off to a good start.
