Appeal to trace man missing from hospital

Abdul Faye
Police in Rochdale are concerned for the welfare of a 32-year-old man who is missing from hospital.
Abdul Faye suffers from paranoid schizophrenia and had been detained under the Mental Health Act at a secure unit at Birch Hill Hospital, but absconded on Wednesday 8 September 2010.
Mr Faye does not have a history of violence but it is feared that without his medication he could become violent.
Mr Faye, who also used the name Chesbe Cha, has mentioned travelling to London, Birmingham and Newcastle.
He is described as a black man, 6ft tall, of slim build and with short black hair, a beard and facial scars. He speaks with a Caribbean accent and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and grey tracksuit bottoms.
