On Monday (4 October) morning all Year 6 need to go to Falinge Park High School for a Taster Day. The children need to make their own way their and back and should be in full school uniform.

Tuesday afternoon is Grandparent’s Afternoon for the Reception Class. The children should have brought home details about this event.

In time for the Road Safety Week in November, Year 3 will be having a Road Safety talk on Thursday and Year 5 on Friday.

There is a special assembly on Friday afternoon where we will be presenting a cheque to Francis House Hospice. Although the fluffy key rings and wooden animals have all sold out, we have decided to order more because of so many disappointed children!

Well done to the children who were presented with the Achievement Award last Friday by the ladies from the croquet club.

Year 1: Elysia McKenzie-Cobb

Year 2: Troy Sandilands

Year 3: Jessica Leigh

Year 4: Sofia Riley

Year 5: Ellie Astin

Year 6: Kristian Hodgkinson

Year 6 managed 100% Attendance – Excellent.

Finally a thank you to Jean and her team from Bury Croquet Club who came and taught Years 5 and 6 the magical game of croquet. They have made plans for a return visit in the Spring and we will very much look forward to that.
