Children visit fire station

The children from Deeplish Community Primary School at Rochdale fire station
Children from Deeplish Community Primary School visited Rochdale fire station this week.
The sixty children and their teachers were able to explore the station as well as learn more about fire safety.
They were given a talk by Community Fire Safety Officer Mick Cyrer before being shown round by members of Red Watch.
Watch Manager Mark Doggett said: “It is really important that we engage with children early on in their school life as they could learn important safety advice which could help them in the event of a fire.”
