6 former Karen gave up her holidays to volunteer for the Sunsport programme based at the gateway centre, assisting young people with disabilities in a wide range of sporting activities such as Canoeing, Rock climbing and Golf.

Last week Karen was awarded a certificate to mark her completion of 100 hours of volunteering service. She said “it has been hard work but I loved it.”
6 form have had a great start to the new academic year, with the new students settling in well and 2 and 3 year students taking on new responsibilities and helping the new 1 years.
