TLF Fitness opens its doors

Ian Foran and his Grandmother cut the ribbon to officially open TLF Fitness in the presence of staff friends and family
The champagne was flowing at the official opening of TLF Fitness Ltd on Royle Road, Castleton, this evening (Friday 17 September 2010).
TLF Fitness started life as an outdoor training company but with the dark nights drawing in and the weather becoming increasingly colder owner Ian Foran decided it was time to start working indoors too.
Two months ago Mr Foran and his team occupied just one room of Elite House, on the Royle Works site, now they are using the whole site not only offering personal training and fitness classes but beauty treatments too.
Users of the centre are now able to complete their work out and then be pampered by staff in “The Beauty Room” and have their nails done in “Idyllic Acrylic.”
Although Mr Foran hoped to one day have indoor premises he is ahead of his plans.
“I have been doing this for two years and in the long term I hoped to move into a building but to be honest I am well ahead of schedule.
“I feel I have achieved a lot in a short space of time,” he said.
Speaking about the beauty treatments on offer Mr Foran said: “Our clients are predominantly women so we thought they should be able to treat themselves. We are also hoping to open a carwash here so then they will be able to have their car valeted, do their classes and have a pamper.”
Mr Foran explained that the last few months have been great for TLF, “At the turn of the year I was on the verge of quitting, but then I started looking for a place to train and it all clicked into place, it has really taken off.”
Mr Foran concluded: “I am absolutely made up that it’s got to this stage so quick.”
Guests at the event were able to see what classes are on offer at TLF including TLF Boot camp, circuit training, yoga and Pilates and also indulge in beauty treatments including eye brow threading and eye lash tinting.
