Academic Reviews begin on the week commencing the 27 September. The first cycle of reviews begin with Year 11 parent and pupils. The reviews are critical to your childs’ success and we hope you will be able to attend. Letters will be sent home in the next couple of weeks.
Music lessons are available to our new Year 7 pupils. If you would like to play an instrument and wish to find out more then come along to the CEPA Office where Mr. Jackson and Ms. Williams will happily talk to you.
We are currently in the process of inviting parents to be involved in school by becoming a Parent Governor. A letter was sent home with students on Friday. Please check your child’s bag for this. If you are interested in this role, please complete the form and return it to Main Reception in school before the 20 September 2010.
Parents of pupils in Year 11 should be receiving letters to let them know about the Academic Review meetings that are about to start in the week beginning 27 September. The meetings will involve Year 11 pupils, parents/carers and tutors. You child will be bringing the letter home to you so please expect it this week if you have not already received it. If there are any concerns or questions please contact school. We hope this system will give you quality time to discuss your child's education and give them your support.
All the communities are being given the opportunity to make a radio programme to be broadcast on our new radio station. All community representatives should see Mr Morley if they have any questions. Check the timetable for your slot in the radio studio.
Year 10 and 11 students will be going to watch Rambert at the Lowry in Salford on Friday 24 September. Everybody should check with Ms Wystawnoha where they should meet at 12pm.
