Rochdale Unitarian Church
On Saturday (18 September 2010) between 10am and 12.30pm there will be a coffee morning. Why not pop in for coffee and biscuits on your way to or from the shops?
Morning service at 10.30am on Sunday (19 September 2010) will be led by our minister, Rev Gillian Peel. After the service the cultural group will be travelling to the Peak District for lunch at Charlesworth, and then on to Sheffield to attend the evening service at Upper Chapel. The Unitarian Chapel will be holding a special service of rededication of the George Fullard statues, which have been cleaned and re-sited in the chapel garden.
The Book Circle meets at 7.30pm on Monday 20 September, when we will be discussing "The Alchemist" by Paul Coelho (information from Helen 649015).
The Walking Group will meet at 1pm on Saturday 25 September. The modern sequence dance that evening will start at 7.15pm. The whist drive starts at 7 pm.
The Harvest Service at 10.30am on Sunday 26 September will be led by Graeme Pilbrough.
Two dates for the diary: the annual mock auction will be held on Wednesday 29 September - viewing starts at 7pm and the auction at 7.30pm - admission is just 50 pence; and the ever-popular Autumn Lunch, which starts at 11.45am on Saturday 2 October.
