Welcome back, firstly we would like to welcome all our young people, parents and carers to what will be another exciting year at Redwood School. A special ‘hello’ goes out to all the pupils and families who have started at school this term. It is great to see the smiles and happy faces at the start of term. It has been an excellent start to the new year and the whole of the school community looks very smart in appearance.

The new term brings a new start – new classrooms, new staff, new timetable, new student planners and new routines. Each key stage will support our young people during this early part of the term. Everybody has ‘hit the ground running’ this week – I know we are in for an excellent year.

Evening and Saturday morning Youth Clubs at Redwood:

As you are aware we will be commencing our Youth Clubs at school for our young people on 28 September. Thank you for completing the survey. Your views and support are vital as we plan for this exciting new venture for our pupils and families.
After School Clubs -Our comprehensive selection of clubs will begin week commencing Monday 20 September.

Parents Workshop – important date:

The first workshop for parents will be held on Wednesday 29th September at 10.00am – 11.00am. The theme will be a ‘hands on’ explanation of the new 14 – 19 curriculum framework, Foundation Learning and its implementation at Redwood School. More details will be sent out next week.
