Hollingworth Business and Enterprise College.

We would like to welcome everyone back after the summer and welcome to Hollingworth BEC to all new staff and pupils.

Reminder to pupils:

Punctuality: It is College policy that pupils arrive in college at 8.40am to allow them to be in their Tutor Rooms no later than 8.45am. Pupils arriving after this time will be marked late by their Tutor and must attend a break time detention. Failure to attend this break time detention results in a 1 hour detention after college on Friday of the same week. Please ensure you are punctual to registration to avoid punishment. 

All pupils: If you are ill you must report to the main reception with a note from your teacher. If it is necessary, college will contact your parents. Under no circumstances must anyone leave the college premises without first checking at the main reception. Please note: - If you are leaving college for any reason, i.e. a doctor’s or a dental appointment, you must have written permission (a pink slip) from your Head of Year before signing out at reception.

Trip payments: When students bring trip money to the upstairs payment hatch they must remember to place the payment in a sealed envelope. Their name, form, trip and payment amount must be written on the front of the envelope. Students must avoid bringing large amounts of cash into school and wherever possible pay by cheque. Payments can also be made online using the parent pay facility. Payments must be handed in before 2:00pm.
