Milnrow band welcome new Musical Director
Date published: 06 September 2010
The Co-operative Milnrow Band has appointed a new Musical Director.
The band welcome David Evans, the former Yorkshire Imps and Fairey MD to lead the band after his recent break from top flight banding.
The band’s president, Ken Watts said: “Under David Evans the Co-operative Milnrow Band is looking forward to rehearsals and preparations for its forthcoming contest programme which includes the Scottish Open, North West Areas and the Grand Shield.
“Good results in these contests will maintain the progress of the past few years and help to ensure that the band continues to consolidate its position in the Championship Section.”
