Police in Rochdale are trying to find the owner of a stolen saxophone, which was recovered on Tuesday 2 June 2006.
At about 1.50pm police on patrol on Manchester Road found a man to be in possession of a stolen Elkhart saxophone.
Officers do not know where the saxophone was stolen from and would appeal to the owner to come forward.
It is a soprano saxophone from the Elkhart range by Vincent Bach. It is believed the instrument is worth about £100. Images of the saxophone and a music book are available from GMP Press Office on 0161 856 2220.
Anyone with information about the owner of the saxophone should contact officers on 0161 856 8427 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
