Man found dead at Middleton bus station

Detectives investigating the death of a man found at Middleton bus station this morning, Monday 2 October 2006, are not treating it as suspicious.
Police were called to the bus station on Manchester Old Road at 5.15am where the 42-year-old man was found.
The death will now be referred to the coroner.
The scene remains cordoned off and is likely to cause a disruption to the bus service this morning. Passengers are advised to plan more time for their journey.
