Date published: 29 March 2007
Police in Rochdale are appealing for witnesses after fifty thousand pounds worth of duvet covers and bedding was stolen from a factory on Lodge Street in Middleton.
Between 2pm on Saturday 24 March 2007, and 10.45am on Sunday 25 March 2007, offenders broke the lock on the storage room of Rayall Textiles and used the pallet trucks to move a substantial amount of stock into the loading bay.
The offenders then loaded the stock into a vehicle and drove off through a green wooden gate after breaking the lock off.
Anyone who may have seen someone selling off a large amount of duvet covers and bedding, or has any information that may help the police with inquiries is asked to call Rochdale police on 0161 856 4646 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
