A fire has broken out at a 16th Century listed building in Middleton.
Fire crews were called to Tonge Hall on William Street at about 0520 BST today (Monday 4 June), and found the first floor and roof well alight.

No-one was injured in the blaze at the Tudor building, which has previously been targeted by vandals.
