Man arrested after woman's death

A man has been arrested after a woman was found dead at a house.
Paramedics called police after finding the woman, thought to be in her 50s, at a property in Tonge Street, Rochdale, on Friday afternoon.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and has been taken into police custody for questioning.
Police are appealing for anyone with any information to call police on 0161 856 4646, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
