Reed Hill car park reopens in time for Christmas

The car park is now open
Reed Hill car park which has just reopened in Rochdale town centre in time for Christmas. The opening is part of the wider redevelopment of St Mary Gate, which the council says will see completion in spring 2025.
Access to and from the car park is now via Hunter’s Lane and the car park has been reconfigured to make it easier to get in and out of spaces.
There are also an additional two spaces, taking the total number to 46, which now includes four disabled bays.
A spokesperson for Rochdale Council said that the area “will look even better in the coming weeks”, with dedicated loading being created for the neighbouring businesses and new parking bays being installed for residents living next to the car park.
