A man that GMP described as a "known male" was arrested in Rochdale town centre after being spotted by CCTV breaching his Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO).
Town centre officers quickly responded, detaining the individual before taking him into custody. Following his arrest, the man was charged with the offence and remanded him in custody.
The Rochdale Neighbourhood Policing Team continues to monitor the area closely, ensuring swift action against those who breach legal orders designed to protect the community.
A Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) is a legal measure imposed by the court on individuals convicted of a criminal offense who are deemed repeat offenders of antisocial conduct.
These orders can be issued by the Crown Court, magistrates' court, or youth court, with applications made by the Crown Prosecution Service, local authorities, or the police.
