Heywood & Middleton Apprenticeship Fair to be held this month

Date published: 05 October 2023

An apprenticeships fair is being held at the Lighthouse Project in the Middleton Shopping Centre on Friday 27 October.

Chris Clarkson MP is joining forces with Rochdale Training, Hopwood Hall College, Rochdale DWP Jobcentre Plus and the Lighthouse Project to host the event, which will bring together employers, training providers and apprenticeships organisations with job seekers and school leavers.

It's free to attend and no need to pre-book, simply turn up on the day.

Mr Clarkson said: “I’m very pleased to be hosting the 2023 Heywood and Middleton Apprenticeship Fair at the Lighthouse Project. This is an exciting opportunity that will bring together local employers, training providers and the Department for Works and Pensions (DWP).

“Apprenticeships offer a fantastic route to work and qualifications, including university degrees. The event is not just for school pupils but for their parents and grandparents as well as older people looking to re-enter the workplace or re-train.”

The Heywood and Middleton Apprenticeship Fair takes place from 10am to 1pm on Friday 27 October at the Lighthouse Project in the Middleton Shopping Centre (Unit S6b/c Middleton Shopping Centre, Limetrees Road, Middleton M24 4EL)
