Date published: 26 September 2023

A man was arrested in Castleton on suspicion of handling stolen goods after offroad bikes, quadbikes and pedal bikes were seized by police during a search warrant.

Police searched the Newchurch Street address on Friday 22 September, after receiving a high number of intelligence submissions.

In a post online, GMP Rochdale said the man was arrested after the vehicles “were located, seized and suspected to be stolen.”

Another man at the address was also found to be in possession of cannabis, police added.

Officers are now appealing to locate any potential victims of the stolen items.
