GCSE results 2023: St Anne's Academy

Year 11 students from St Anne’s Academy in Middleton are celebrating after receiving their GCSE results on Thursday (24 August).

Mason Klemp is St Anne’s highest achieving student this year after achieving five Grade 9s, two Grade 8s and three Grade 7s at GCSE. He will be amongst one of the elite students across the UK for achieving a high number of Grade 9s. 

His Grade 9s were awarded in further maths, maths, biology, chemistry and physics, grade 8s in computer science and Spanish plus he also achieved Grade 7s in English language, English literature and history.

Headteacher Chris Heyes said: “Mason has been such an exceptional student and we are all very proud of him for achieving these fantastic grades.”

Special mentions also go to Michelle Adams, who achieved one Grade 9, four Grade 8s and one Grade 7; Daniel Chan, who achieved four Grade 8s and three Grade 7s; Alan Li, who achieved one Grade 9s, three Grade 8s and one Grade 7; Filip Rozpond, who achieved two Grade 8s and six Grade 7s; and Andy Bryan, who achieved one Grade 9, one Grade 8s and three Grade 7s.

Mr Heyes said: “I’d like to congratulate all our students; they have done us and themselves proud.

“This set of excellent outcomes is testament to the hard work and dedication shown by both the students and staff daily. I would like to wish all our leavers the very best for their next steps and look forward to hearing about their future successes.”
