Cardinal Langley A Level and BTEC results 2023

Students in Year 13 at Cardinal Langley RC High School in Middleton received their A Level and BTEC results this week.
Mr Bridson, headteacher at Cardinal Langley, said: “We are very pleased with the excellent A Level and BTEC examination results that our students have achieved, with the majority of students being offered their first choice of destination.
"These results reflect the tireless work that they and their teachers have undertaken during the last two years - their determination and commitment has been exceptional and there is no greater reward than to see our students move on to their next stage.
"On behalf of everyone here at Cardinal Langley, I would like to extend our congratulations to our remarkable students. It is wonderful that their hard work and dedication has been rewarded. We are immensely proud of all our students and here is a small sample of some of their achievements.”
Lola achieved an A* in English Literature, an A in History and an A in Criminology and she is going to the University of Leeds to study Sociology and Criminology. Harmony achieved a B in Physical Education, a B in Psychology and a C in Religious Studies and is going to study Sports Performance at the University of Bath. Ella achieved a Merit in Performing Arts, a C in History and a D in Spanish and she is off to Leeds to study Drama.
Evie achieved an A* in History, an A in politics and a B in Economics. Evie is delighted to be going to Loughborough University to study Politics, Philosophy and Economics.
Ethan achieved an A* in History, a B in English Literature and a B in Politics and he will be going to the University of Leeds to study International History and Politics. Ethan’s aim is to become Prime Minister.
George achieved an A in Maths, a B in Chemistry, a B in Physics and a C in Psychology and he will now go on to the University of Leeds to study Physics.
Sam achieved a Distinction* in IT, a B in Computer Studies and a B in Maths and is very excited to pursue his career in game development.
Emma achieved an A in Criminology, a B in Psychology and a B in Business. Emma is looking forward to starting her apprenticeship with an accountancy business.
Shannon was delighted with her achievements - an A in Criminology, a B in Psychology and a C in English Literature. Shannon will now begin her degree studies with the police and Salford University.
Ellie achieved a Distinction* in Health and Social along with a B in Psychology and a D in Religious Studies and she is now going to Salford University to study Occupational Therapy.
Leon achieved an A in Maths, a Distinction in Performing Arts and a C in Business. Leon is now moving on to employment in customer services.
