Police are continuing their searches for Artur Olszewski, of Heywood, who has been missing since 30 July.

Artur, 41, was last seen in Ripponden on Sunday 30 July at around 4pm.

His car, a blue Vauxhall Insigia, was discovered at Booth Wood Reservoir, between Rochdale and Huddersfield.

Artur is described as a tall white male (5’8”), of slim build and he has dark blonde hair with some grey.

He was potentially wearing grey joggers, Nike trainers, a navy blue jacket with dark waterproof clothing over the top.

Family and friends of missing have also been carrying out searches and are appealing for anyone who know what may have happened to him to come forward.

Artur’s wife, Iwona, has said that Artur travelled to Ripponden to buy a canoe, which was also found at Booth Wood.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “Officers want to make sure he is safe and well.

“Anyone with information about Artur's whereabouts should contact police on 0161 872 5050 or 101.”
