Councillor Elizabeth Atewologun has graduated with an MA in Education from Manchester Metropolitan University.
The North Middleton councillor, who was elected this May, graduated in a ceremony at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester on Thursday 20 July.

A primary school teacher since 2021, Councillor Atewologun completed her MA full-time to improve her teaching skills.
She said: "I am hoping to use my skills to enrich teaching withing schools and wider education will use these skills to benefit residents in North Middleton.
"I am pleased that my hard work has paid off, I would like to give special thanks to Prof Kate Pahl, Prof Frances Press, Dr Claire Goodley, Dr Sarah Evans and Dr Huw Bell, to name a few."
