A new sensory room has opened for pupils at Norden Community Primary School.
The room was officially opened by the Mayor of Rochdale and Norden ward councillor Mike Holly last week.
The sensory room was funded by the local community after deputy headteacher Nikki Delaney organised a colourful all-day dance-a-thon which saw schoolchildren and staff don their brightest clothes.
An impressive £3,642 was raised by the event, ensuring the accessible room could be created.
Mrs Delaney said: “Thank you to all of the parents and community for their support to achieve this amazing space for our children.”
