Middleton man charged with drug and driving offences

A 22-year-old man from Middleton has been charged with drug and driving offences.
Officers from Rochdale’s Challenger Team made an arrest at 9.30am on Friday 21 July on Yarrow Close in Rochdale, where the team recovered a car, mobile phone, approximately £2,000 in cash and £3,000 worth of crack cocaine and heroin.
Luqman Shakeel has been charged with possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine, as being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and driving whilst disqualified.
He’s been remanded to appear in Manchester Magistrates Court on Monday 24 July.
