First Manchester to operate limited bus services from Monday 24 July

First Manchester has confirmed plans to operate some limited bus services on planned strike dates from next week.

From Monday 24 July, the following routes will be running:

  • 409 every 15 mins
  • 82 every hour
  • 425 every 30 mins
  • 426 every 60 mins

A flat fare of £2 for adults and £1 for children will be charged.

Customers are advised to check the website www.firstbus.co.uk/greater-manchester/news-and-service-updates/industrial-action and follow its Twitter feed @FirstManchester for updates.

There will be no services over the coming weekend Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 July.

Further strikes are set to take place on 24, 25, 28 and 31 July and continue on 2, 4, 7, 10 and 11 August.

The Vantage service from Bolton along the guided busway through Leigh and Atherton to Manchester and 184 service between Oldham-Huddersfield are not affected by industrial action.
