Health and social jobs fair in Middleton – all you need to know

A jobs fair focused on the health and social care sector will be held at Middleton Arena on 20 July.
A range of health and care providers and employers from across the borough will be brought together to showcase a wide range of careers across the sector, sharing insight of working in the industry, giving you the opportunity to network, ask questions and find out about the current opportunities on offer.
There will be numerous jobs being recruited to on the day including healthcare assistant, administration, support worker, joiner, porter, catering, domestics and many more. Employers will be interviewing throughout the day.
As well as employers, various partners are supporting the event who will be on-hand to support you with your CV, interview skills, and signpost you to employment and training programmes to support your next step.
The event is focused on entry level roles across the spectrum of health and social care with holistic support for the people attending including pre-employment programmes and volunteering opportunities.
There will be interviews on the day to reduce the barriers faced by many when applying for these types of roles including:
- booking & scheduling
- catering assistant
- clinical support worker
- domestic assistant
- senior occupational assistant
- volunteering opportunities
