The Royal British Legion is recruiting for a new Poppy Appeal organiser for Heywood after the previous one recently stepped down.
Poppy Appeal organisers distribute Remembrance poppies within the local area to businesses, schools and supermarkets, and also work with local community groups or businesses who provide help and support.
The Poppy Appeal is the Royal British Legion's biggest fundraising campaign held every year in November, during the period of Remembrance. The charity provides lifelong support to serving and ex-serving personnel and their families.
The role is voluntary with help, training and support given to all Poppy Appeal Organisers.
