Date published: 20 April 2023

The Army of Kindness and Penny Appeal partnered to host the Rochdale Iftar for over 200 people on the evening of Sunday 16 April.

An iftar is the evening meal after breaking the day's fast during the holy month of Ramadan.

The event - aimed at feeding the homeless, refugees from Syria, Iraq, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Palestine, Ukraine and many more - took place at St Andrews Methodist's Church on Entwisle Road and was a resounding success.
