Students invited to Star Academy open evening

Oulder Hill Leadership Academy (OHLA) is inviting Year 6 pupils and their families to its open evening on Wednesday 18 September 2024.
The academy open evening, which will take place at the school on Hudsons Walk, Rochdale will run from 5.00pm – 7.00pm. Visitors will be offered tours of the school with an opportunity to visit the school’s extensive sport facilities, Learning Resource Centre, as well as its well-equipped classrooms, science labs, and learning spaces.
The school – one of the largest secondary school sites in Rochdale – has a proud history of serving pupils from Rochdale and the surrounding area. Its students benefit from dedicated and committed teaching and support teams, and progress to some of the most prestigious further education providers in the UK and beyond.
At the open evening, the principal will deliver welcome presentations in the main hall at 5.00pm and 6.15pm. Visitors will hear about the school’s academic curriculum and high-quality teaching which enable students to flourish academically, and about the personalised learning and pastoral support that every student can benefit from. The school’s expert staff will also be on hand to offer guidance about the school’s GCSE subjects and its knowledge-rich academic curriculum.
