Boy, 16, sustains serious head injury in 'assault'

A 16-year-old boy sustained a serious head injury after an alleged assault.
On Thursday 9 March, GMP were called to Tweedale Street, Rochdale, to reports of an alleged assault.
The victim sustained a serious head injury – although this is not believed to be life-threatening.
Officers continue to follow lines of enquiry and are appealing to members of the public for information.
Anyone who may have been in the area is being asked to come forward.
