Police want to speak to these men in connection with Alkrington burglary

Date published: 17 February 2023

Police have released two CCTV images of men they want to speak to in connection with a burglary in Alkrington.

After a number of enquiries, detectives are now in a position to appeal to the public for additional information and want to speak to two men who they believe may be able to help with their investigation.

The burglary on Walsingham Avenue is believed to have taken place on Sunday 22 January 2022 at around 8.30pm.

Thankfully, no items were stolen but it is believed that four men entered and searched the entire property looking for valuables.

Inspector Cooke for Rochdale Neighbourhood Task Force said: “We’ve conducted a number of enquiries around this burglary and although no arrests have been made we are conducting a full investigation to establish the circumstances.

"We understand that the images are not of the best quality but we are looking to speak to the two men pictured who may be able to assist us with our investigation.

“We’re now appealing to members of the community if they have any further detail they can share that may help our ongoing investigation.

“This can be done by ringing the Rochdale CID directly on 0161 856 4620 or 101 quoting incident 2870 22/01/2023 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
