Chilled food on the shelves in the supermarket
A number of food products have been recalled by the Food Standards Agency over undeclared allergen fears and safety concerns.
Three of the UK’s biggest supermarkets – Morrisons, Tesco and Iceland – have issued warnings over the items which should not be eaten. Most of the items contain allergens which are not present on the label, whilst one also contains meat (not in the ingredients) and one which may contain small pieces of metal.
If you have these items, you should return it for a full refund.
Morrisons Tomato and Chilli Pasta Sauce
Morrisons is recalling Morrisons Tomato and Chilli Pasta Sauce because it contains milk which is not mentioned on the label.
This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.
The product also contains pepperoni which is not on the ingredients list.

Use by: 25 January 2023

Tesco Wicked Kitchen Spinach & Wild Garlic Ravioli
Tesco is recalling Wicked Kitchen Spinach & Wild Garlic Ravioli because it may contain small pieces of metal, making it unsafe to eat.

Iceland Foods Mars Dessert Bar
Iceland Foods is recalling Mars Dessert Bar because it may contain peanuts and egg, which are not mentioned on the label. As a result of a packaging error, some packs have been incorrectly packed with Snickers Dessert Bar. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts and/or an allergy or intolerance to egg.
