Milnrow man avoids jail after making indecent photos of children

A Milnrow man has avoided jail after being charged with making indecent photographs of children.

Anthony Tabernor, 54, has been charged with eight counts of making indecent photographs of children, one count of possessing an extreme pornographic image and one count of possessing an extreme pornographic image portraying bestiality.

He appeared at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court for sentencing on Wednesday (9 November) where he was sentenced to 21 months in prison, suspended for two years.

Tabernor must abide by an electronic monitoring curfew of 7pm-7am for four months and complete 40 days of rehabilitation.

He has also made subject of a sexual harm prevention order for 10 years.
