Elderly woman dies after collision on Halifax Road

An elderly woman in her 90s has died after a collision between a pedestrian and a HGV on Halifax Road in Hurstead on Friday (28 October).
 


The driver was spoken to near the scene, and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “Our Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses after a woman in her 90s died following a collision with a HGV on Halifax Rd yesterday.

“The driver was spoken to near the scene and enquiries are ongoing.”
