Elderly woman taken to hospital after crash on Halifax Road

An elderly woman has been taken to hospital after a collision on Halifax Road in Hurstead this afternoon (Friday 28 October).
A woman, believed to be in her 80s, has been taken to Royal Oldham after a collision between a car and a pedestrian shortly before 4pm.
The main road is closed in both directions from Braddocks Close to Birch Road.
The North West Ambulance Service said it sent two ambulances, a response vehicle, an operational commander and an air ambulance, whilst police are currently on scene at the closure.
