Manford's Comedy Club is coming to Whitworth in November

Comedy giant Jason Manford is bringing his hugely successful Manford’s Comedy Club to The Ashcroft in Whitworth next month.
On the bill for the launch night on Friday 4 November will be acclaimed comedians Hayley Ellis (MC), Will Duggan, Steve Harris and another act to be announced.
Since its creation in 2014 with a mission to bring the best comic talents on the circuit to small towns and cities across the UK, Manford’s Comedy Club has employed hundreds of comedians to entertain more than 80,000 people in dozens of venues – from holiday parks to arts centres, bustling city nightclubs to quiet rural theatres.
The Ashcroft is the name of the former Whitworth Civic Centre, with a room the comedy club team deemed ‘wonderful for comedy’ when they visited.
Jason Manford said: “It’s always exciting to add a new town and venue to our Manford’s Comedy Club family, so we’re thrilled to be coming to The Ashcroft.
