'Prolific' shoplifter charged with 19 offences

A prolific shoplifter in Heywood has been charged with 19 offences.
Lyndel Acheampong, of no fixed address, appeared at Manchester Magistrates Court on Thursday 13 October where he was charged with 19 offences of theft and public order.
He has been remanded into custody and will next appear before magistrates on 31 October for sentencing.
