Angel Knight was named both Best Mascot and Mascot of the Year; Hollie Morris was awarded Best Leader, and Lailah Kendall was named Dancer of the Year. The Dinky B group also won the Most Improved Group title.

The juniors, aged 12-16, won overall third place and Troupe of the Year, whilst seniors, 16+, picked up both a first place (Senior Gold) and second place (Senior Silver) award.
K Stars Dads won the Dads’ Line Award as well as Best Leader for Chris Fearnehough, and Best Mascot for Lucas Hawker.
Marching comp winners included Isabella Hibbert-Jones, Ruby Greenwood, Elise Croney, Deeza Jones and Chris Fearnehough.
Troupe Principal, Kirsty Fearnehough, said she is “very proud of each and every single one” of her dancers, who have trained so hard over the past season.
She added: “Dinky Gold and Senior Gold have worked incredibly hard over the last few weeks, pushing themselves to their limits, full routine and arms changed and all put together over a couple of weeks. Our troupe motto is ‘Passion, Purpose and Pride’ and they all definitely showed this last weekend. All the best to each and every one of you for our 2023 season.”
The troupe consists of dancers ranging from two to 50 years in age and was set up in 2016.
K Stars meet for practice on Fridays from Friday 23 September at St Thomas' Church in Kirkholt (5pm-8pm). For more information, please contact Kirsty on Kstarsmorristroupe@gmail.com.
