Firefighters tackle warehouse fire on Gorrell's Way

Firefighters spent three hours tackling a blaze in a warehouse on Gorrell’s Way, Rochdale during the early hours of Sunday morning (4 September).
A Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “At around 1am on Sunday 4 September, firefighters were called out to a fire at a commercial building on Gorrell’s Way, Rochdale.
“Six fire engines from Rochdale, Heywood, Oldham, Hollins, Chadderton and Whitefield attended the scene, along with a Technical Response Unit, where a fire had broken out in a warehouse.
“Crews used breathing apparatus and hose reels to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for three hours.”
