All4Youth fun day raises £700 towards wells in Pakistan

The yearly youth fun day at a Rochdale barber’s salon has raised over £700 towards water wells for those less fortunate in Pakistan.

Scores of young people attended the All4Youth fun day at Biggy’s Barbers on Ashfield Road where a barbecue was enjoyed as money was raised for the cause.

This is the third such event by the youth organisation which has raised money for wells in Pakistan.

Based in Rochdale, All4Youth aims to take youths off the streets and into a place of safety. The organisation also provides support and guidance to those suffering from mental health issues, drug/alcohol addiction, bullying, depression, anxiety, and more.

Despite being called ‘All4Youth’, the organisation also raises awareness of what older generations should look out for and how they can support the younger generation.

Founder Hassan Ali said: “We have successfully delivered many projects throughout the year but this project has been running for three years and it's an honour to see youth getting involved and we will continue this every year.”

Waqas Sultan, owner of Biggy’s, said: “Even if it’s only once a year, we want all businesses to come on board and sacrifice one day for charity. Also working alongside with All4Youth gives a chance to young volunteers to get involved and make a difference in our communities.

“Finally big thank you to Zaeem Khan, Humdan Khan, Irfan Khan, Mohammed Junaid, Mohammed Kashif and all our volunteers involved.”
