Rochdale RSPCA in desperate need of kitten food

Date published: 21 July 2022

The Rochdale branch of the RSPCA is running low on wet food for its hungry kittens and their nursing mums.

The RSPCA currently has several queens, which are fed kitten food when nursing, and their kittens, which are fed three times a day, plus four older kittens (all pictured) and two younger ones (not currently available to adopt), all fed three times a day, plus a supper of kitten biscuits in the evening.

Manager of RSPCA Rochdale, Shirley Mellor said: “We are in desperate need of kitten food at our animal centre.

“If you can help and donate we will be extremely thankful.”

Donations can be dropped off at the animal centre on Redcross Street (between 11.30am and 3.30pm to reception, six days a week - every day except Wednesday), any of the eight RSPCA Rochdale charity shops (during opening hours) or via the pet food donation bins in both the Heywood and Rochdale Morrisons stores.

Alternatively, you can donate via Facebook or purchase an item on the RSPCA Rochdale's Amazon wishlist.

All these kittens pictured are available for adoption: for more information on adopting, please contact the Rochdale RSPCA animal centre. Tel 01706 861897 Email rec.rspcarochdale@btconnect.com
