Middleton resident, Quynh Bui recently showcased her exceptional musical talent at Abbey College Manchester’s charitable winter concert.

Quynh Bui, 17, of Alkington, left the audience in awe with a duo of spectacular solo performances, helping to raise much-needed awareness and funds for mentoring charity, Citywise and also the Manchester Refugee Centre.

Quynh Bui delighted with her vocal renditions of ‘Officially Missing You’ and ‘When We Were Young’.

During the evening, gifted performers took to the stage of the Unitarian Chapel on Cross Street to present a spectacular variety of singing, instrumental musical displays and poetry.

Following what was her last significant event at the college, departing Abbey College Principal, Liz Elam, commented: “Quynh Bui is a highly talented student who captivated the audience with her beautiful singing and impressive guitar performance. We are delighted that she participated in our charitable show.

“Our winter concert was a jubilant occasion and a wonderful way to bring our college community together, all while raising money for good causes. We have many talented students and staff members here at Abbey College Manchester, and the evening presented the perfect opportunity to showcase and celebrate their creativity and aptitude.”
