Springhill Hospice Santa Dash returns for 2021

Date published: 19 November 2021

The Santa Dash and Dawdle, the fun and family friendly Christmas fundraising event that raises money for Springhill Hospice, is back this December.

Springhill Hospice’s popular Santa Dash will return on Sunday 12 December at its new location, Queen’s Park in Heywood.

You are invited to dash, walk or stroll your way through candy cane corner, stop for a s-elfie and cross the tree-mendous finish line. Dashing Santas have the option to take on a 2km or 4km route within the park

Sophie Ansley, fundraising manager for Springhill Hospice said, “We can’t wait to see all of our Santa Dashers back in person this year after nearly two years. We’re also really excited to be at our brand new venue of Queen’s Park Heywood, and I would like to thank the friends group for being so welcoming and supportive.

"It has been a tough couple of years for the hospice and events, like our Santa Dash really gives our fundraising efforts a much needed boost as well as giving everybody that festive feeling and a day to remember. Many thanks also go to the many local business sponsors who support us every year.”
