All4Youth awards celebrate young people making a difference in the community

Date published: 01 October 2021

Over 20 young people have been presented with certificates for making a difference in their community.

Community group All4Youth, which aims to take youths off the streets and into a place of safety, held an awards ceremony attended by hundreds on Thursday (23 September).

The awards evening was attended by councillors, community organisations, singers and members of the local community. Speeches were given by the winners, talking about how important it is to have such organisations guiding the youth in the right direction

Hassan Ali, founder of All4Youth, said: "I don’t think we have seen so many youngsters under one roof to show their support towards what they believe in.

"I hope we continue to bring many more projects in to Rochdale such as more events, activities, workshops for our youngsters. Also a big thank you to British Pakistan Foundation for supporting the event and making it possible."

Based in Rochdale, All4Youth also provides support and guidance to those suffering from mental health issues, drug/alcohol addiction, bullying, depression, anxiety, and more.

Despite being called ‘All4Youth’, the organisation also raises awareness of what older generations should look out for and how they can support the younger generation.
