World dance champions Mia Linnik-Holden and Andrei Toader have retained their U21 ballroom crown at this year’s UK Closed Championships in Bournemouth.
The Middleton duo were named U21 champions of the Closed Championships for the second time running and also placed fifth in the UK Closed Amateur Championship.
The teenagers, 18 and 19, landed two vice-champion titles at the Blackpool Dance Festival earlier this month, placing second in Amateur Rising Star Ballroom and Youth U21 Ballroom.
Mia and Andrei, originally of Romania, have rapidly gone from strength to strength over the years, and have continued to top the dance scene since rising to the youth ranks in 2018.
They first became junior world champions after their partnership began in May 2015, racking up numerous titles in both the junior ballroom and Latin ranks.
Andrei and Mia said: “Thank you to our families for your never-ending support and dedication towards us.
“Thank you to our team and sponsors for always making us look the part on the floor, and for pushing us to constantly become a better version of ourselves every day.”
