Littleborough scammer avoids jail after being charged with fraud offences

A Littleborough scammer has avoided jail after pleading guilty to fraud charges.

Mahmood Jawaad Ali, 32, appeared at Manchester Crown Court on Tuesday 17 August, where he was given a suspended sentence.

Ali pleaded guilty to dishonestly making false representation for gain and using a false instrument.

He also admitted a breach of a suspended sentence order imposed at Manchester Minshull Street on 11 May 2018.

Ali was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment, suspended for two years, plus 150  hours of compulsory unpaid work.
